59th birthday of Rick Hansen – Richard Marvin “Rick” Hansen, CC, OBC is a Canadian Paralympian and a philanthropist for people with disabilities. Following a pick up truck accident at the age of 15, Hansen sustained a spinal cord injury and became a paraplegic.
